CusiMaky Cusco Peru is an excellent program that truly helps kids that are born into a unlucky situation.

I volunteered for 4 weeks and they were some of the most rewarding moments in my life. The kids are so friendly,respectful and understanding of any Spanish speaking limitations. The children love to get involved in different activities and games that have been organised.

Volunteers help with creating a safe haven for these children to grow and find themselves in what is sometimes a harsh world. I recommend volunteering at CusiMaky the support provided from program manager Jen is first class.

How to describe in words what I'm feeling right now...so grateful for this amazing experience. So happy fot the beautiful always happy niños (children) they inspired me so much! realize once again how lucky I'm! Love food, healthcare and so many other luxuries are so normal for me. But after what I have seen I can never look the same at my life. I fell a bit sad to leave wish I could do more, spent more time here, I feel that there is a great chance I will be doing this kind of work again.

Thanks so much for all the donations everyone. The children are SO happy and grateful! We bought food, clothes, toys, presents, did lots of activities and paid the rent for the project and I will miss my amazing friend Kathinka we had a such an amazing time together and I'm sure will travel together once again!! But with who am I going to share my pasion for food now? Gonna miss you!!
